What We Collect
Everything we hold comes from the quote form on our contact page. If you never fill it in, we never collect anything about you. When you do send it, we receive:
- Your name and email address, which the form requires.
- Your phone number, if you give us one.
- The location of the project.
- The kind of flooring you are asking about.
- Whether the job is residential or commercial.
- Whether stairs are involved.
- Anything you write in the message box.
Alongside that we record two technical details: the country the request came from, and the name of the browser you used. Both exist to tell a real enquiry from a wave of spam, and neither identifies you.
We do not record your IP address. It is the one detail you would not have chosen to give us, so we leave it alone.
Why We Have It
To answer you. Your enquiry goes straight to Justin so he can call you back, talk through materials, price the work, and arrange a time to come and measure. That is the whole purpose.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising, we do not add you to a mailing list, and nobody outside our company sees it except the two services listed further down, which handle it only to get it to us.
How Long We Keep It
We keep quote requests for as long as we are doing business with you. A floor is rarely one conversation. People price a room, think it over, and come back a season or a year later, and when they do we would rather still have the details than make you type them out again.
We do not run a deletion clock, and we would rather tell you that than name a date we do not keep to. What we do promise is simpler: ask us to delete your enquiry and we will, whenever you like.
Cookies and Tracking
There is no analytics on this site, no advertising tags, and no third party watching you browse. We do not set cookies to follow you, here or anywhere else, and we could not tell you which pages you visited.
The only moment anything about you is recorded is the moment you choose to send us the form.
Keeping the Form Working
The quote form is protected by a spam check from Cloudflare called Turnstile, which is the quiet replacement for those click every traffic light puzzles. It may leave a short lived token in your browser to confirm you are a person. It does not track you.
Occasionally that check gets it wrong and turns away a real customer, usually because the network hiccuped or a browser blocked it. When that happens we hold onto the enquiry rather than throwing it away, so a genuine request is not simply lost, and we go through those by hand. It is not emailed anywhere until we can see it came from a person, and it is held on the same terms as everything else here.
Who Else Handles It
Two companies touch your enquiry on the way to us, both only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores the quote requests, and runs the spam check described above.
- Resend delivers the email that lands in our inbox.
Neither of them uses your information for anything of their own, and no one else receives it.
Asking Us to Delete It
Call or email and we will delete your enquiry. There is no form for it and no waiting period. You can also ask what we hold and we will simply tell you.
If you would rather not send anything through the website at all, the phone works just as well, and always has.
Changes to This Page
If what we collect ever changes, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
